Did you notice that in the 2021 Taycan manual, you have to to program a maximum high-voltage battery charge of 80% for daily use. In the 2020 Taycan manual, it was 85%. Is there a difference with the HV battery ? Someone with an English 2021 manual can confirm this ?

But in my opinion it's nothing about some "hardware" change about the battery. It's only Porsche being more (too much???) careful about battery "managment".

But in my opinion it's nothing about some "hardware" change about the battery. It's only Porsche being more (too much???) careful about battery "managment".
So it seems to have references to 85% *and* 80% charge levels in there. It reads like charge to 85% at ambient temps above 30C, otherwise 80%.
