Undergoing PDI at the dealership - got caught in a heavy rain shower overnight outside so rather dirty at this stage :):

PDI Complete and ready to send off to the Xpel shop for PPF and tint (still in bad need of washing!):

A teaser from my SA - PPF (front half) and Tint applied and full detail of the car by dealership (lot more to come):

Looking forward to Tuesday :)

Awesome day so far - believe it or not but I got EVERYTHING with my car i.e. two key fobs, all electronics (steering column, phone charger, TPMA, Sun sensor etc.) - amazing. The only hiccup so far is I cannot register i.e. login to create my profile on teh car. Annoying but will get there.

Just throwing some pics out here from delivery - actually took them before I had the clear side markers put on but will add more pics later - man, spectacular drive home in all Sport Plus more :) This thing is a smooth as silk and forgot to mention, walking up to it for the first time just really emphasizes how sleek and low profile the car is in person - seems particularly hard to replicate in pictures as they tend to 'inflate' the rear end!

Finally did a quick charge check at home at immediately got 10.5 kW with my ChargePoint HomeFlex - nice!

Early days - more to come - unfortunately the sun was pouring through the clear garage door so a bit washed out:

Back home - the hips on this thing! :)
Bit of a deceptive angled shot as that is a two-car opening!!

Ignore range as obviously not broken in yet but nice charge rate :)

This from my SA Jake taken before I got there :) - EDIT: WRONG!
I just now realized, pretty funny, but sneaky bugger set this pic up on way back from service where they installed the clear side markers on pick-up day whilst I was paying for the thing - good one Jake :)

Some goodies waiting on a ride :)

Not a smoker but the 'cups' clean up that area - was hoping they'd offer the Panamera style covers for the Taycan - maybe in the future ...

Added some pick-up pics to original post above - deciding to keep all the pics in one area - the Volcano Grey looks absolutely gorgeous in the Houston sun :) - and man, what a ride - just excellent.

Have the place sorted but given so close to Xmas it will be after - can’t wait to get it done! Experience with car so far pretty epic :). But like so many others still cannot get profile up and running - will work with dealer Thurs… fingers crossed!

Profile registration sorted - SA sent a new link that involved matching a PIN code to my registration and worked like a charm - perfect!

@ciaranob, beauty and congrats!!

What is, "Air suspension ‘CETE’ system w/ custom plug n’ play harness"?? You mind me asking where you purchased it?

I've read many people use lowering links for the Taycan?
Can post a link to other threads where discussed here later (do a search for CETE) - CETE consists of two modules front and rear that are installed underneath the car that intercept sensor data being sent for the air suspension - it is the ultimate system to control all aspects of your air suspension and perfectly integrated with the various modes in your car - you can override the max-min limits and with a tap of a button in their app put the car in any stance you want- can modify the std suspension height settings in any predefined mode so basically can not even use the app if so desired. And more :)
Links are a one stop lowering at a height you choose - will apply evenly across all mode settings but of course entirely mechanical and quite visible to any tech working the car. If you want to change the drop etc you have to physically adjust each link etc. Great cheap fix if you just want a single drop amount.

TAG Motorsports have developed a plug and play harness solution for CETE that removes the requirement to splice into the cars wiring - they also resell the CETE units at same price as others. But an expensive option of course vs basic links. CETE infinite adjustability, very hidden, can be completely turned off for dealership visit w/o removing any hardware (exception of course if working on suspension;))

Finally both options (CETE and links) have been around a long time and tried and tested across the Porsche range - either option solid in that respect.

Thank you!! I can't find any photos / videos on the installing using the "plug and play"
It is simply a plug to plug solution vs having to tap into the cars wires as the basic install requires. I’ve tapped into car wires for many other types of installs but decided for this application I did not want to risk any kind of short or bad connection etc. I’d need to go back but did you look at the TAG site - can’t recall if they have a vid yet - there are similar P and P harnesses for CETE installs in other Porsche models - out and about right now but can check later.

will the Cete device allow you to raise the car higher than the highest factory height in gravel mode?
