Another one for RAS.
Also I’d have acoustic glass. (Which I’ve just seen you have selected collected.)
Vented seats are good.
And the Cross Turismo (way better looking, sling a dog or bike in the back too).

FOD doesn't appear to be a thing these days - no longer advertised.

ACC is most definitely not a must and if standard I'm pretty sure I'd switch it off personally.
FOD is still available in my Connect Store.
Do you already have functions like Comfort Access and Power Steering Plus? Is that why you can’t see any FOD options?
I’d like Comfort Access but balk at the £27 monthly rental or £1100 ((44 months) one time fee.
For ACC, depends what you become used to. I’ve found Innodrive creates more issues than solutions. Recently had a loaner with Basic Cruise and missed ACC.

You don’t have a my25 do you? The my25 connect store is different than the prior model years. I have no FOD alk/innodrive available on mine (and am in a my25).

FOD for MY25 J2 isn't yet available nor mentioned on the website unless I missed it.

From launch of J1 FOD was talked up a lot with various examples.

Appreciate how it works and is generally limited to software updates for comfort access, Inmodrive (if you have ACC), PSP, PDLS+ and not much else bedsides.

Sorry - I didn’t spot the FOD comments above were about Gen 2.

I'd get race-tex headliner, makes the interior more luxurious.

Most UK Taycan has adaptive cruise control from what I can see at auto trader. So that to me would say that most people choose it and want it. All those other things you mention has more to say then ACC. But once you ticked all of those boxes ACC seems like it's next, in the UK market also.

But hey, let's agree to disagree. I would say ACC is a must. You don't. That's fine.
What you aren't factoring here is that many dealer spec cars will have ACC and as Porsche UK ordered masses of MY23/MY24 cars all with ACC (same for the 20 MY25 J2s at my dealership) there will inevitably be a glut of cars with ACC.

Privately configured cars not so much.

Why? Dealer can charge more for something you otherwise probably wouldn't need.

Pay your money and make your choice.

I always assumed the dealers got preferential rates on options that perhaps were less desirable to buyers and Porsche had the parts stockpiled.

For example if you buy a Taycan with 'rear seat entertainment prep' you can bet your arse its a dealer spec'd car.

Mine is one. It has all the great options along with some very obscure ones like the rear seat entertainment prep and the high gloss rear wiper trim (i mean seriously??!?). I find it very hard to believe that when spec'ing the dealership thought these options would wow buyers and secure a deal?

Sometimes they simply get sent cars. At one point a source at my dealership had said that they don't actually own the showroom cars as they are owned by Porsche. Not sure if that's the case today.

I had a loaner J2 4SCT today which had my non essential extra ACC but had only a reversing camera which puts this car in the undesirable category as a result when cones to selling on.

Another had the awful illuminated rear logo - just gash imho.

In general, new cars on the lot (or in the showroom) are so heavily financed by the car manufacturer that they're really not owned in any meaningful sense (in terms of equity) by the independent car dealer.

I believe the reason the description of headlights in the 2025 US standard equipment list (below) is almost non-existent is to make consumers believe that buying the $1700 optional "HD LED Matrix Headlights" is the only way to get the features listed for the option.

For example, is there no high beam auto-dim feature with the standard headlights?

I don't know what's true, but since I am not planning to buy a 2025 model, it isn't important to me. If I was planning to buy a 2025 in US, I would get a written description of the standard headlight features from PCNA, not info from a dealer sales rep.

From US standard equipment on configurator:

Interesting perspectives. When I ordered my 2021 Taycan 4S I selected all the performance options and none of the exterior cosmetic options (which I can't see while driving).

Your build is very complete as to performance options which I endorse.
