My 2022 Taycan GTS was just delivered! I feel fortunate that my wait time was very short in comparison to may here and I was able to spec my car exactly as I wanted it and paid MSRP. Here is my time line so others can use it for reference.
Ordered 3/21/22
Locked 4/4/22
Scheduled for production 4/12/22
Production started 5/13/22
Production complete 5/24/22
On ship 6/8/22
Arrival Baltimore: 6/20/22
Port Processing: 6/22/22
Arrival at dealer: 6/23/22
Delivery 6/28/22
Spec:
Chalk over Bordeaux
Premium package
Rear wheel steering
RS Spyder wheels
2+1 Rear seat
Ventilated front seats
Heated rear seats
Intelligent Range Manager
At delivery I decide to purchase the Porsche wheel and tire package 48 month cover
MSRP $2380
Negotiated price $2150
Unlimited wheel and tire replacement for 48 moths with $50 deductible per occurrence
8 cosmetic repairs with no deductible
$50 transfer fee if the car is sold or you can obtain a prorated refund
The good:
Handling, acceleration, ride, fit and finish, interior noise, Bose Stereo, looks
The not so good:
Comfort access doesn’t always work (have key in pocket and put hand under door handle and it won’t open)
It occasionally switches into private mode so the app no longer can control things, unlock doors, see charging
Mods/Accessories so far:
Xpel PPF over entire front end
Xpel Ceramic tint 20% all around
Cquartz UK 3.0 ceramic coat entire car and wheels
Porsche Rubber mats, frunk and trunk mats
Proclip phone holder with red iPhone USB-C cable
Gray key fob shell
Puddle lights on order
CarPoke Bordeaux bezel and control knob coming soon
