4S. Wanted one as least as quick as my current iPace, which has been a great car all round.

I’ve ordered a CT4S with a few extra goodies as the best compromise for my budget and did not want any slower than my Alfa QF

Dang I don't even have an allocation and yours is anticipated Oct - may get another car in the mean time.

Track your dream is frustrating, but mine FINALLY went in to production last week. Fingers crossed that it completes on schedule this Friday!

I'm considering a 4S, because the 4 would be slower than my current Tesla Model 3, and that doesn't seem right when you're definitely upgrading.

Hi all,
My first post to this group. 👍 to the admin for a great educational source.

Our CT4 is ordered..we went back and forth between the base and 4s . Test drove the Taycan 4s and loved it! Did a few launches and although greatly impressed, felt that our real daily driving would be just fine with the CT4 and the added options. We particularly found the RWS very useful in tight parking but also higher speed handling.

Also , noted that the base allocation was easier to get ordered as the 4s was more limited with a waiting list at our particular dealership.

Ordered 4 CT. $105K was the limit I wanted to spend on my first Porsche which will be used as daily driver. Another factor was this car could be delivered in 2021 while the $7500 tax credit is still available.

The CT 4S is slower than the ugly big Telsa Model X Long Range, not sure if comparing 0-100km/h times is relevant with these EVs. The best option would be the Turbo S if you want to prioritize 0-100 times in your choice, but even that one is still slower than that big ugly Model X Plaid!

I picked a heavily optioned CT 4 instead of a CT 4S. I would rather enjoy full leather interior, massage/ventilated seats, night vision, HUD, panoramic roof, RWS etc instead of the 1 sec reduction in 0-100km/h time. In my daily commute these are a lot more valuable to me than acceleration.

I took delivery of my CT 4 this afternoon in Grenoble.
I test drove a S fIve month ago.
After 130 km of mountainous roads , no regrets at all about this choice.
Enough power to rapidly overpass big trucks , the CT 4 is more faster that my previous Macan S.
I'm quite happy, i will stick a "S" after Taycan 4 on the tailgate and all will be perfect ;)

I test drove the dealer's CT4S and loved it.
I never do standing start acceleration so 0-60 times are of no interest, maybe the CT4 would be quick enough for me, I know the Turbo won't be significantly (if at all) quicker most of the time at road speeds because of stability control but didn't want to be disappointed.
The car will replace 2 petrol V8s, one a sports car, so the 4S it is

Just Ordered CT 4 with delivery on 1/7/22. Previously owned Panamera Turbo and rarely used acceleration to full capabilities. I would rather have a heavily optioned CT4

CT4S because of 0-100 and because I think it’s a nice mix of losing my drivers license alone and driving slowly together with my family for skiing trips.

+1.
IMO, it’s better to spend 30,40k for options like PDCC, PTV, matrix lights, olea leather, etc.
Acceleration in CT4 provides more than enough woo-hoo :rock:
