I found the information below rather interesting. For the Gen1 Taycan, Turbo has the lowest drag, followed by a 4S, then Turbo S for the highest drag. Also, from that graph it seems gen1 Taycan Turbo in Range Mode has slightly better drag coefficient as the new Taycans. The only aero difference between gen1 Turbo and Turbo S is the Turbo S having the air scarf vent blinded due to mandatory electric charge port - this one small change seems to cost the Turbo S as much as 18.2% more in drag coefficient while in range mode, 7.4% higher drag coefficient in Sport+. I just noticed that the only new Taycan without the powered electric charge port is the GT with the Weissach Package.

Interesting.
Turbos have lesser aero-dynamic wheels by default. I wonder if this test was done with same wheels across.
Curious what makes turbo more efficient than 4s? AFAIK its slightly heavier.
Is it the added body panels on front and back that improve aero?

Any link to source?

Tests are done on the standard rims with the factory standard options. So 19” for the RWD and 4S and 20” for the turbo. Not sure about turbo s. And all without glass roof etc (weight). Probably why no one is getting the promised range since I’ve never seen a Taycan with the 19” rims

20" rims on porsche configurator reduces range over 19". not sure how accurate these tests are.

Mind linking the original source?

As much as I hate the blocked off vents, the difference is due to standard 21" non-aero wheels on TTS vs 20" aero wheels on TT.

We are not talking rolling resistance, only drag coefficient. If 20" wheels result in lower drag coefficient, why does the 4S then have a higher coefficient? 4S might even have had 19" as standard wheels.
