Discovered that when I checked the settings. Passenger mirror is selected but there’s no way to select the driver’s mirror.Yes I was playing a while and it's only the passenger mirror that adjusts. I put car in reverse and adjust passenger mirror and then do a Set and 1 on door memory buttons.
At the moment still no updates to this. Hopefully a better solution coming soon but we shall see.Hi Luke,
I've had my turbo for 3 months and love it with one exception, the Satellite reception. When in areas with trees and the like the satellite looses reception in places where all my other cars are fine. They do have a whale tail antenna which of course the Taycan doesn't. Have you heard of any modification, solution for this? I know by the forums I'm not alone. Thanks for your time. Marc
It only does the passenger mirror for parallel parking purposes to my knowledge.Discovered that when I checked the settings. Passenger mirror is selected but there’s no way to select the driver’s mirror.
Your sales advisor is correct. Porsche does not directly notify the dealership (and especially not the salesman) of any updates to delivery timing.Luke: do dealers know about changes to vehicle lock and production dates? My build was originally supposed to be locked on 11/20 and in production 11/27 but for some reason it was advanced to 11/6. My sales associates claims there’s no way to know that this happens but that strikes me as suspect. Why would porsche have a lock and production date if it is subject to changes? And why wouldn’t the sales associate or dealer be notified?
Yes I have been with quite a few of my builds. My build just got pushed from November build until January build because PSCB brakes are on a stop order thru December. I wasn't told why but the first orders with PSCB brakes aren't allowed until January 2021 builds. Luke are you getting this issue on your November/December builds with PSCB?
Anyone else running into this as it will be the difference between getting a Mission E wheel or not for builds in November and December. I believe this is a world wide issue.
This is the way I try to order every car with a client. I try to call my clients 2-4 weeks before the order "locks in" in order to make sure it's 100% what they're wanting. After four bespoke Porsche’ in the last eight years, nothing has changed. Local dealers do not know an early lock date until it is too late to change anything. Have learned to make sure of our options two weeks in advance of the estimated lock date.
Ask your Salesperson to send you a screenshot of the Porsche Sales and Tracking Information screen for your car.question please ... I just got v260 .. how long for the car to finish production?
and to the ship
thanks
If my salesperson had done that I might have not had to cancel my order and buy another Taycan somewhere else! This is the way I try to order every car with a client. I try to call my clients 2-4 weeks before the order "locks in" in order to make sure it's 100% what they're wanting.
Is there a way to be on a "list" so when there is an update I'll be notified? My car had minor damage to the front bumper(car hit it while parked)and was sent to a Porsche Dealer for alignment and when it got there was told there were 2 open recalls - a computer update and something with a drain. If I didn't bring the car in how would I have known about these? At the moment still no updates to this. Hopefully a better solution coming soon but we shall see.

Eventually, your Porsche Dealership would be required to notify you about the recall. Is there a way to be on a "list" so when there is an update I'll be notified? They work off of a list and go in order based on the date the vehicle was sold.
If you just happen to come in for a different service reason, they will usually complete the recalls at that time since it is already in the shop.
