In a message on another thread, I read that the Ski Bag option (3X1) includes the 40/20/40 back seat (without the 5th seat belt). Is that correct?
I believe this is correct. I had one client order the Ski Bag so far and if I recall it had the 40/20/40 back seat without actually having the +1 seat... Will try to confirm this for you.

On configurator, read the text in the i on the right of Ski Bag option.
Rear 2+1 Seat option also says 40:20:40 n the info panel.

Here are a few images of my 2+1 with space for the ski bag. There is a seat belt for the +1.
Is this what you were looking for?

I believe what others are asking is if you don't select the 2+1 seat option, does the ski bag give you the option to fold down the center seat (40:20:40) instead of the standard 60:40 split but not have the middle seat in the back.

I believe the answer is yes. On the configurator, when selecting ski bag it does not add in the rear head rest for the middle seat i.e. doesn't have seat belt and still has the tray in the middle. But it then gives you the functionality to have a 40:20:40 rear folding seat instead of the typical 60:40 split.

So essentially, if you want to keep the Rear Seats as Standard (NOT 2+1) and want the 40:20:40 split instead of the traditional 60:40 split, then option on the Ski Bag Option! Learn something new everyday.

Appreciate the clarification. Thank you.

hmmm - this got me thinking - I have a the 2+1 option (no ski bag) - and Just now figured out how to lower just the middle section–so it's a 40/20/40 split for lowering the rear seats!!

cool!

Yeah it's kinda funky to do if you've never done it before. Nice feature though!

The next question is what rear seat design do you get if you select 18-way, and the ski bag. I'd bet it's the same as the 2+1.

There is an obvious cut-out where something could have been installed which is what led me to ask the question.
I asked when I got my car. The dashboard with heads up display is not as streamlined

Hm, that's interesting. Neither the Belgian nor the German configurator mention the through-loading feature. They just contain the first sentence, about a bag you can take along with you. Prices are similar, so why is the description different?

Not necessarily. The design of the "18-way" rear-seats could conflict with a third seat or belt but still be compatible with a ski hatch.

Can you add the sport chrono features (not the clock obviously) but the sport plus option to a 2021 4s. I have a Neptune coming this week and it does not have this option although it does have the performance battery plus so I assume the performance is the same but I guess there is no over-boost button?
