From my experience, no. You'll want to get it PPF'd. Maintaining that clearcoat requires the same care as paint.

Yes ..had one on Cayenne coupe …lightweight package …had whole car PPF’d. Just in case
but it did look good

For the E-Tron GT it's a 26lbs weight savings
Not that it matters for a 5000lbs car, but I think I looks good
