It's been exactly two months since I took delivery of my 2021 Taycan 4S. Each time I have charged it the range has increased. Today was the best yet. 277 miles after 100% charge. My 4S has the standard battery and not the battery plus option. I am extremely please with the overall performance of my 4S.

277 miles works out to 445km (we're metric up here so I needed to convert) ... that beats the usual 430km (or 267 mi) I've gotten from a 100% charge. Good for you! I am always impressed with the range of the Taycan (at least for my style of driving).

Typically I keep my battery at around 85% max, but it's good to know the extra room is there if needed.

Thanks. I am very pleased with the range I am getting. Its much better than I thought it would be.

I actually also have the standard battery on a 4s and I also get around 270-275 miles with a full charge. I am extremely pleased as well!

Do you have the battery plus option?

My dealer told me "Since you lease it, charge it to 100% all the time"....I only charge once a week when I am below 40 miles left, but to 100%

Best I've done so far on my RWD...I don't often charge to 100%.

I do have the performance plus battery.

Awesome! I too have the RWD with the performance battery plus (had it for about a couple of weeks now) and I am now getting about 281 miles at 100% battery. I have driven it about 600 miles.

How many total miles have you driven it so far?

I don't trust the range display after charging. Example, on my Tesla Y the range on a 90% charge might be 285 miles, in reality I get maybe 210 miles. Tesla is notorious for over stating the range.

So, my question is: if the display shows 277 miles, what did you really get?

Can't answer the question yet as I am still driving since the last charge. Will post again when I'm ready to charge.

When figuring out my range on a charge, I like to keep an eye on these three numbers:

- start percentage (example: 80%)
- end percentage (example: 12%)
- distance driven

The theoretical max range (100% down to 0%) would be:

distance / (start percentage - end percentage)

Example: if you start at 80% and drive 200 miles and then recharge at 10%, your theoretical max range would be:

200 / (.8 - .1) = 285 miles
