Black or white?

I am very curious what color you choose.
I searched for a while but I couldn't find a similar thread anywhere so I create a new one based on a poll! Thanks in advance!

Black cars are beautiful, when clean. But, IMO, very difficult to keep clean. The first time you venture out in rain, or pollen, or dust, there goes the beautiful finish. And road salt in the winter is the worst. I owned a black car once, never again. I chose white for my taycan. YMMV.

Tough one.

Black compliments the sportiness of the car much better and makes it appear smaller in person, IMHO. But it is a pain to keep clean.

Then again, who buys a 120k+ car without planning on keeping it clean?

I like black too, it's a lot of cleaning work but that's part of it!
Ordered a jet black metallic Taycan 4S, looking forward to delivery in August.
White looks cool, but it's a bit to prominent imho, we'd gone for a black one!

Love black but never again! UK roads & weather are not good for black cars.

Ive currently got a white Panamera which is really nice, but felt I needed a change so went for Gentian.

I went with white to match the Mission E. I have had black, silver and metallic gray. Never had white before and am not brave enough for red or green. Had they come out with a midnight blue, I might have gone with that. And yes, my colour choices are boring!!

Black cars look great, no question. But the Taycan is designed with so many high-contrast elements as part of the overall look that black hides those details. You end up with sort of matte-black-against-black which, while stealth, hides the designer's lines.

Same general problem with the grey and blue. There's a reason the Mission-E was white.

So, despite not-and-never being a white car guy: white. YMMV! That's why there are choices!

Mamba Green Metallic all day long. It is also very good at hiding the pollen from the trees.

No offence at all but white is fantastic if you live in a warm climate. The UK mostly have rain so black is good but difficult to keep clean! I have had two and the are a PITA.

And the white was just the way the Mission E was presented. .

My 458 Italia is black. Gtechniq Crystal Ceramic Serum and EXO treatment Works a wonder. Repels rain and dirt like a fan’s on! Easy to wash too. Try it if not already done so. Needs to be professionally applied.

I feel the exact opposite. I find the Taycan design “too fussy and trying too hard” in light colours. Black gives it the elegant, sporty and stealth look.

Anyway, we are all different and that’s why they offers the colour choices

I was captivated by the Mission E concept years ago so I decided to go white for that reason. If that hadn’t been a thing I probably would have gone black as the Taycan really is stunning and sleek in black. Maybe I can talk my wife into letting me get a second one for that reason, haha
