Can’t close trunk from PCM or with key

Had my Taycan for a month or so now and noticed that I couldn’t close the electronic trunk with the key, only open it. At first I thought that’s simply how it’s designed but then I noticed yesterday that I can’t close the trunk through the PCM either. Tapping the trunk close button in the lower screen does nothing.

Anyone else experienced anything similar?

Also if you have the Comfort Pack, PVTS+ tracker fob / key in your pocket, press close / close & lock and walk away the trunk will only close partially so ensure you hang around or stay in near proximity to ensure closure.

Nope. But if you have the Comfort Option then there are 2 buttons on the trunk - both close and one locks the car.

I couldn’t close mine last week from the PCM then it worked fine a few days later. Probably a bit temperamental like most of the electronics! Sadly you can’t close Porsche boots from the key (unlike Land Rover - but I will still keep the Porsche!)

It works from the PCM, just not the key fob.

Lower PCM screen with the climate controls, there's a vehicle control button there.

Porsche care more about safety than LR

I’m not sure there is much of a safety issue closing the boot from the key! There are some things LR do better but it still doesn’t make me want one. My wife loves hers though
