Can dealer get specs changed after freeze point reached

Does anyone know if dealers can get specs changed a few days after the freeze point is reached? Freeze point reached 7/16. Today is 7/20. Production scheduled to begin on 9/3.

My dealer confirmed, but he also said that such (after freeze point) changes may cause extension of delivery date...
I just wanted some minor change and after his explanation, I left as it was....

Many minor changes shortly after freeze date will not impact future dates.

I was not able to change anything after the freeze date, but I guess that could have been down to the build slot being 5 weeks after the freeze date.
