Can HUD display navigation direction from Apple CarPlay?

Hi,

I am about to order a Taycan base model, with or without HUD (Head-Up Display).

One thing I need to know is HUD can display navigational direction from CarPlay running google map(or apple map) on iPhone. If you have a Taycan with HUD, could you try? Photos will be appreciated a lot.

If it doesn't, this HUD(cost $2,000) doesn't looks attractive to me.

Hi apple car play only appears on the centre dash screen and not on the binnacle or HUD. However the hud is excellent for showing speed limit , actual speed, navigation and automatic drive functions eg lane keep, active speed contol, innodrive, and calls. I wish it showed the night vision assist but it does not. The nav system on the car is the best yet though i still think waze or google maps are slightly better - waze alerting to speed cameras etc.

You must have a different nav system installed from what I have.

You must have a different nav system installed from what I have.

Must be very different to the one I have. The one time I used it, it took me on route that was over an hour that should take no longer than 15 mins.
