Can't set charging to 85%?

Millionth of topics on same thing. I have set my timer to 85% and general profile to 85% and prefferred time to 00.00 - 06.00, but car still chargers to 100%?

I dont think i have changed any setting and is used to limit to 85%. Do i do something wrong?

Profile min at 85% will charge to 85% immediately. It doesn’t seem like that’s what you want.

The timer should prevent further charging though.

Is the timer set to repeat?
Is the timer active?

A profile with optimized charging will charge to 100% without a timer.

It seems like maybe you don’t need the profile at all. Probably just a timer at 85% for 6am.

I had a home profile set to 85% been working faultlessly last two years now after the Update profile is still there and active states85% but does not limit - charges to 100% ( direct charging disabled )
I think I will try deleting profile and restarting with a new profile

Do not set both a time and profile, they will conflict and therefore result in charging to 100%.

Recommend only use profile with the preferred charging times and it should only charge to desired level.

Have you confirmed that you don't have the "Direct Charging" function activated. That will ignore all profiles and timers

They don’t conflict. They do separate things. And a timer is required to take advantage of the preferred profile times without charging to 100%.

But in OPs case, I think only a timer is needed.

I'm simplifying thing by calling it a conflict for ease of understanding.

Profile trumps timer when both are set to the same percentage. If profile is 85% min, that means it charges immediately to 85% and then checks if there is a timer with a higher max percentage. If not it keeps charging to 100%. That's why the OPs car charges to 100%.

I’ve done a lot of testing and I don’t think that’s how it works. It doesn’t keep charging to 100% if a timer is set, unless the timer is set to 100%. It keeps charging to 100% if preferred times are set and there is NOT a timer.

Just set the timer to 85% at 6h00. It will be charged at 6h00. You don’t need the profile.

and make sure direct charge is off as mentioned above.

Don't set your profile to 85% - set it lower (mine is set to 25%) and timer is set to 85% daily.

Turn off preferred time or add a timer.

It will charge to 100% with preferred time and no timer.

In your case, you probably don’t want a profile. You can probably just use a timer set to 80% @ 5:30am.

You have set a profile with a minimum SoC. You need to set a timer with 80 % max Soc and it will stop at thexset soc

What if I want it to start charging AFTER 11pm only to take advantage of the off-peak rates ?
