I believe Porsche quotes the cargo capacity of the CT at approximatley 16 cu ft with the seats up and about 43 w/ the seats folded. What I can't figure out is, given the size of the car why is it so small inside? The Model S has pretty similar dimensions along w/ a low roofline and sloping rear back, yet its cargo capcity is 26/60.

Does Porsche just massively underrate their cargo capacity figures like they do everything else?

The Cargo capacity with seats up is the space under the "shelf" which is essentially the cover in the hatch.

When the Audi RS6 came out, the official German reported cargo volume with seats up was 20 cu ft of cargo capacity but once it was "converted" to the US standards it became 30 cu ft.

Yeah that could definhriy be part of it. That probably explains 5-10 cubic feet worth of difference with the model s and the rest could be the slightly lower roof line

yes, that is it. This was also mentioned in The Smoking Tire clip published today about the cross turismo. Germans report cargo space based on maintaining visibility out of the rear window.

I used the rough measurements from the clip posted yesterday by autogefuhl to arrive at 22.5 cu ft in the Taycan CT including the full height of the cargo area, if that helps.
