Chalk or Carrara White

Getting close to hopefully getting an allocation for our Gts ST.

What people's opinion on these two colours?

We have always had white cars but wondering if this time to make the switch to chalk.

The black contrast of GTS should go well with either colours I suppose...

I got a cancelled order which was chalk which i was dubious about but i love it now ! For me white in the UK would be dirty far too quickly And personally not a colour i would pick…

Here’s what Chalk looks like in my garage lighting. The color representation is spot on in this video. I think the color looks great in the nearly endless sunshine we’ve had in Texas this year.

Chalk is a color you're going to want to see in person and in both sunny & cloudy conditions. It's available on most Porsche models so you should be able to find it.

Chalk is on my list of colors not to order without seeing in person. It can be polarizing. I like it but my brother, also a huge car guy, hates it.

Carrara White is a classic color and quite safe.

I think chalk on a 911 looks epic. However, on the Taycan, not so good. I went for Carrara White as I believe it really makes the Taycan standout. The chalk seemed too flat for me and the large black rear bumper and front grill overpowers the chalk in my opinion.

I have CW and lust for Chalk. I think I read here recently that Chalk may become a PTS? If true, and you're getting it for the lower charge, I'd take it for the added value later on.

Saw a very nice 718 at Williams Crawford this weekend and chalk looked awesome on that. Although i do see it quite a lot on Porsche vehicles, it’s very popular across all the model range. Not sure i would have a leisurely vehicle in white, my work van is white and needs a machine polish now and then to look it’s best.

I went for Carrera White as it was the safer choice.

Chalk was innovative and pretty cool when it came out many years ago. It seems pretty dated now when applied to new products like Taycan.

Carrera White is ultra eye catching on a Taycan, especially with the GTS trims. I'd almost argue Chalk is the more subtle color.

I just meant boring in the sense that white is so... easy and common. My Cayenne was carrera white. Yes, ultra eye catching, but boring. The Taycan is a car that I feel should be done in something other than white. Personal opinion only of course

Just installed screen protectors on my taycan today - dyi ppf type, fairly easy and a nice way to spend time with the car. Chalk is my bias, I love it!
