Hello,

for a week now I realized that the battery does stop charging at 80% as I setup some time ago.
Last week it was at 84% when I unplugged and at 94% today.
I check the threshold and the option does not exist anymore. The option to 'DIRECT CHARGE' is not available on the green battery display.
Even the option disappeared from the App, the direct charge option or the threshold value.

Do you have the same issue?

is it still charging when you go to unplug it, or has it stopped?

Can you post pictures of your setup as well as the missing display items you are referencing?

Yes it stopped when I unplugged.
as far as picture it is a bit though.
I recall that when I’m charging I can select direct charging on the iPhone app. This is gone but it still charge at 100%.

Option still there in app and car.

Useful to share your profiles and timers to see if we can help troubleshoot.

As I said it is gone and I do not have any profile in the car. Even if I create a profile I can’t enter the charging percentage.

Maybe try uninstalling/reinstalling the app? What about the options inside the car? Are those all still present?

When no profiles are active, then the car will charge right away when plugged in and only stop when you unplug or the battery is full.

The direct charge function is not available in that scenario. This is normal.

Thanks Andi

I had to create a profile and the direct charging appeared again. As far as setting up to percentage charging threshold 80 or 85% I do not find it.
I should missed something but I’m not sure what.

Please share the profile you have created to help with minimising the guess work - it will be simple from there to advise.

Please also familiarise yourself with profiles and timers by reviewing the content in the Porsche Good To Know App.

That’s interesting. I didn’t realize they removed the control from the UI. It also returns if there is an active timer. 👍

If you don’t care what time it charges, use the Profile and set the Min Charge to the value you want the car charged to. Also set the profile to Optimized and not Preferred Times

If you want it charged at certain times, use the Timer and set the Target Charge to the value you want the car charged to and the Departure Time to the time you want it charged by.

If you don’t care what time it changes, use the Profile and set the Min Charge to the value you want the car charged to. Also set the profile to Optimized and not Preferred Times

If you want it charged at certain times, use the Timer and set the Target Charge to the value you want the car charged to and the Departure Time to the time you want it charged by.
I found it on the profile. I get misleads because of the header saying mINIMUM.
I Changed the 25 to 80 in the car. It works now but the option is not available on the app anymore.
Thank you all.

I think you’re using the My Porsche app. I’m still using the older Connect app and it’s still present on there.

A lot of people get confused by this. It is the minimum charge for the car; the value the car will charge to immediately. After that, other things will take over if applicable, like timers, to continue charging beyond that minimum. If no other functions are set/active, then the charging will just stop at the the profile min.
