Hmm, most odd indeed.

No idea really but try power cycling your EVSE.

Similar problem recently. Car will not charge to target 80% set in timer. Only way it would hit 80 is to leave it plugged in for 2 cycles/days. App will state: 'unable to reach charge target' but no errors in car or the charging unit. Tried every combo of timer/profile and just timer - no success.

Car is currently at Porsche for diagnostics.

Does it continue to charge if you hit "direct charging"?

Power cycle = power off then on again (after a wee second or two)

So 92% - AC and DC charging?

I have got that message occasionally, but found out that the available power at time of plug in coupled with the timer settings, did not have enough time to reach the desired charge level. In other words if you need say 40 kWh and plug in with 7 kw charger but only have some 5 hours to charge. It will not get to the gull 40kWh (excluding losses). It will not give any error message in the car or the app.

I have had exactly the same two weeks ago in my 2022 CT4 PCM6.

The SOC was 74%. The green screen in the middle wasn’t moving like when charging and the app showed charging complete. Indidnt habe any timers or profiles set.

My wall box indicated charging stopped by the car and wouldn’t charge. I the tried the standard Porsche EVSE and same thing happened. Did a reset of PCM and same thing. Tried both charge ports. The LED next to the plug was solid green indicating charging complete.

My car was in lift mode by smart lift function the first time . After putting the suspension at normal level it started charging.

Strange thing was that the direct charge button wasn’t available.

It only happened once and didn’t reoccure. I didn’t try in lift mode however.

Looked like the car thought it was fully charged while it wasn’t.

Was your car in lift mode?

It may have been as I have road humps to slow traffic on my road and set for memory lift car often remains in high lift ? Are you suggesting I should lower?

Maybe you should give it a try because that is what solved it in my case. It started charging when I lowered to normal level. I only had the car for 2 days at that time. Might also have been a coincidence.

Done the power cycle on charger and lowered ride seems to have done the trick

Great we found a bug. I posted on this earlier but everyone’s conclusion was ik couldn’t be the lift. Don’t know however if I am happy to be correct in this case.

I can imagine that it can also be a safety feature. If the car lowers and the cable / plug is pushed by something and brakes.

Was thinking the same that this was a 'thing' and we now have some evidence!
