So, car picked up Wednesday evening and spent the last couple of days getting used to it.

Original build completion date 12th Nov, shifted to 23rd Nov, presumably PSCB delay, car arrived at dealer on the 12th/ 13th Dec and picked up as soon as I could on 16th December. So approx 3 weeks from build completion to pick up from Porsche Cambridge.

Coupe of pics. Will post some more in its own thread and add a couple to the crayon thread to boot.

Mine completed its build on 4th December but has only just arrived at Grimsby (Friday 18th). There is simply no science to the delivery times!
OPC has no idea when the car will land with them (apparently they are only notified 24 hrs before the transporter arrives with it) but have suggested that it won’t be ready for collection until w/c 4th January.
Xmas lockdown is going to feel even longer now!
My 4S also completed build on 4th December and is to be handed over at Porsche Cambridge on 23rd Dec - very exciting...

I am crossing my fingers for our UK friends that the recent COVID containment measures do not interfere with their long-awaited Taycan deliveries. Obviously I am crossing my fingers for the actual containment of COVID too...

Thanks, appreciated. Chunnel, ferry and air routes most affected so inbound sea cargo may remain active for a while longer. Tough times for us all, stay safe.

My car has been delivered my OPC this morning after completing its build on 4th December! Looks like Porsche have been pushing them through the system quite quickly, possibly to avert any post Brexit issues.
Sadly mine has arrived just too late for me to collect it before Christmas but I am now looking forward to New Year like never before! :like:
