Contact Name for Incoming Messages

I have a really odd issue that I'm trying to sort out. I have a Samsung S22 paired with my Taycan. I see the contact list populated on the phone menu in the car.

When I get a phone call from one of my contacts, their contact name is displayed. No issues there.

I can use voice commands to call my contacts. No issues there.

However, if one of my contacts sends me a text, the alert on the car just has their phone number, not the contact name.

Has anyone else seen this?

I also only get phone numbers, no name. Using android as well.

I also get a lot of 'phantom texts', usually following a real incoming text but the car will also randomly select a VERY Old text from a totally different number to read out as well.
