Yep, my 4S ST has the factory fitted bike carrier option with plastic flapWhen ordered as a factory option the ST does have removable panels (here in the UK at least).
I'm sure there's been another thread on here showing the parts needed to do this.
I did not plan to integrate the electrical parts. When I pull the bumper, I will look to see if the ST came with a receptacle for that plug harness. What parts gave you ordered regarding electrical wiring? Or will you just tapp into brake and turn signal lights?
I see. The electrical part for me is the problematic one so I need to see how to work this out.I did not plan to integrate the electrical parts. When I pull the bumper, I will look to see if the ST came with a receptacle for that plug harness.
I have the part number for the harness if you're interested.
Btw, you will need to order a new black bumper fascia that has the opening flap on the left side. This is the same part on CT cars and STs with the NG1 build code.
I ordered everything new. Approximately, half of the cost is the black fascia, and the other half are the brackets. I also ordered a bunch of bolts and screws associated with the parts, which are not expensive and possibly unnecessary.I see. The electrical part for me is the problematic one so I need to see how to work this out.
Regarding the flaps I will try to manually fabricate it by cutting it out from the current bumper and then try to do some magic trickery to have an option to put it back when not needed.
How come you spent $1000 just on the mounting parts? Have you ordered everything new?
Hi, I had issues with my attempted install today. I learned that the rear facia piece (with the flaps doors) on the ST is a very unique part number. Do you have that part number available from your research?I see. The electrical part for me is the problematic one so I need to see how to work this out.

According to the UK parts site the bike carrier is compatible with these models:Hi, I had issues with my attempted install today. I learned that the rear facia piece (with the flaps doors) on the ST is a very unique part number. Do you have that part number available from your research?
My dealership provided me with this part: 9j0-807-875-BN-OK1 . While this part has the removable flap, it is not for the GTS as it has a full integrated diffuser and undertray. The diffuser and undertray on the GTS ST are 2 pieces. (9j1-807-521 & 9j1-807-568) and requires part 875 to be slimmer in order to allow me to attach parts 521 and 568 onto it. While I can find the part number for part 875 for a 4 or 4S Cross Turismo, I cannot find it for the GTS Sport Turismo.
This is the only website I can find with all the variants. Confusingly, it says that BN-OK1 is the USA version. I think this part is actually for a base Taycan ST.
