I am taking delivery next week on my 4S and I want to be prepared for the dealer addons.
For those that have taken delivery which ones are good and which ones should I stay away from.

What are you asking? Aren’t the things BenJL talked about freebies? Are there things they offer that you have to pay for?

I believe he's asking about additional coverages/warranties they try to push at time of sale.

Generally I'd recommend avoiding all of them, OP. They offer them because they make money from them and there is a ton of fine print.

But given that they are profitable, they are very negotiable.

Here are some examples in the US

I am thinking about tire and wheel and the windshield options.

Make sure to read the fine print on tire & wheel protection. Last time I bought a Porsche the fine print on that warranty gave them the discretion to just patch a tire or buff out a wheel, rather than a replacement. You can absolutely patch & buff wheels yourself for much less (and at a higher quality of work) over the course of that warranty, it only pays off if they replace a wheel.

Possible that has changed, though. Windshields are painlessly covered under insurance so never given it any thought.

Just my 2 cents.
