YES! I would guess that's the problem for 90% of us that live with someone else... The other issue is having the time to just sit and listen to the system, again, without anyone else, and of course without any social activities or anything that 'needs to be done around the house'. I have a very nice stereo system in my home, and we've even soundproofed the walls and ceiling in the basement, but I can count on one hand the number of hours per month that I spend listening to the system (sometimes one finger). In some ways, a great stereo system is like a yard hammock - great to have and look at, but who has the time to use it???Problem is, that I can’t play that loud in my house
If you're spending a reasonable amount of time in the car, it's at least an hour a day on average. That is easily 10x the time I have at home to listen to my system. This system is fantastic with FLAC files, and the car is one of the quietest on the road. Burmester is a must-have if you love high quality music IMO.
