My beautiful GTS ST arrived yesterday, this morning I have dog proofed it, I think I’ve come up with a flexible solution to occasionally having to travel with my Car cover Spaniel.

I bought a Dog Bag which, with a bit of a wrestle, folds up small enough to go in the drunk or possibly in the under floor storage compartment. I also bought a boot buddy liner with a soft non-slip mat and the deluxe bumper protector. I haven’t used the liner for this setup but might in the winter.

The bumper protector folds up, it’s attached to the plastic trim above the storage lid with Velcro so can be completely removed although I positioned it high enough that the lid can still be opened. Unfolded it provides full protection to the bumper.

Cool - I'd need to search but there is a whole thread on this with dog pics to boot (intended :)) on the forum somewhere.

Dog bags are excellent. Been using them for years, though i think i've only once managed to fold it up to go back in the rucksack!

As for the bumper guard. is that the deluxe one? Is fold rather than roll better?

Yes it’s the deluxe one, it folds up neatly and tucks in on top of the lid.

I have the same problem folding it, yet to master that skill.

Just master how to get it flat, that’s not too hard. You tube is your friend!

I bought a medium sized dog bag for my soon-to-arrive Taycan but it wont even fit in the Cayenne... plus the dog wont go in it, the bottler...

What happened to have the dog in the front seat with the seatbelt on, open windows and rooftop down while you drive cross city checking out the girls and female doggies?

Oh wait... that was 20 years ago in my Z3. My bad. 😂

Today the Animal Protection Society would probably sue me for reckless endangering my Golden Retriever...he loved it though.
