Doesn't look like flaking to me - looks like you touched up against something.Has anyone noticed paint flaking? My mission E wheels are all gloss black. Noticed this the other day and its obviously not on the face of the wheel so hasn't been curbed...
I know some have had paint issues but wondered how people had got on?
It’s actually on the inside of the wheel, the face of the wheel is perfect.
Definitely can be repaired no problem Around £120 to £150 unfortunately but don’t worry it can be done by a specialist

My Porsche Indy (Jaz) is based North of London but shipped my wheels all the way down there for refurb. Gotta be doing something right!
Else perhaps try calling one of the other south/ London-area Porsche specialists (JZM, Portiacraft, RPM Technik..) and see where they send their clients’ GT3 RS wheels after they’ve nicked the wall at Silverstone.

Now the long journey begins on how to fix it, so looking for forum's help in the US with options listed below the picture.
Option 1 - Repair/Repaint: I have full Wheel/Tire coverage and took it to dealer, who sent me to their collision, they said they repair and paint curb damage like this all the time and will look like new, I do not believe it. This will not cost me anything, but at the time I bought this coverage, the pitch was that they replace any damaged wheel with a new one. I will wait to hear from Collision to see coverage company approved, most likely a repair as they suggest.
Option 2 - New Wheel that must be Painted: The issue is that my wheels are in body color of Ice Grey, so I can source a new wheel, SunCoast said around $2k before taxes in 10 business days, but a body shop still needs to paint the Ice Grey elements, so that will still not be Factory.
Option 3 - Find Factory Wheel in Ice Grey: ThIs seems to be a long shot and almost impossible to get or find specifically a Factory painted Mission E in Ice Grey. However, if anyone has a way to get one or a set of all 4, I would be open to getting it.
