by chance i was looking at the specs of a taycan vs a model 3 and i happen to notice the drag co-efficients for the turbo and turbo s models is quite different, any idea why this is?

power charge ports are standard on the Turbo - so there is some venting difference
and the Mission-E style wheels are also standards - some aero differences there
and I believe the sports facia also has some additional aero loads to be accounted for

I think you can configured a Turbo to be “as bad” as a Turbo S - but it’s more a reflection of the standard equipment between the two vehicles.

20” Turbo Aero vs 21” Mission E wheels I guess. Quite a difference though.

When Jay Leno had a Porsche-guy visiting to show off the Taycan, he specifically said that the larger wheels and tyres increased the drag-coefficient to 0.25.
