The Autobahn Specialist was out again on Easter testing efficiency.

Incredible numbers I think!

Average consumption with a held average speed compensating for turnaround time by going faster on a two way 50km run yielding 100 km per run (except last where he ran short on batter at 97km so had to slow down to return to the charger).

Utilization:
17.3 kW/100km @ 100 kph or 3.59 mi/kW @ 62 mph
24.7 kW/100km @ 130 kph or 2.51 mi/kW @ 81mph
34.2 kW/100km @ 160 kph or 1.82 mi/kW @ 99 mph with peaks of 118 mph visible in video

He claims range to be 317mi, 230mi, and 168mi respectively.

I can't wait for my 4S.

Porsche Taycan 4S. 80 miles per hour average speed is possible. Including charging!!!!

230 miles at 80 mph is crazy good.

Also, been meaning to thank you for a while, you post a lot of great videos and info here.

Thanks!!

most interesting thing was that he charged it all the way up to 93kwh.......... thought that was not possible........ that, part of the battery was reserved for the cars regen. etc.................

Yes I meant to comment. I recall him stating in other videos that you can get about 90kW out of the battery. Realize that the charger shows power used including loss from cable maybe 2pct and HVAC usage in the car at time of the charging.
I feel that Porsche may have cut back on the 12pct reservation originally spoken of to increase range perhaps with more test data.

Yes this might be the case and part of the newer software updates to increase range etc.....

As I remember, nextmove also reported on this that either the consumption calculation in the car is not quite right or the battery net capacity is around 4 kWh larger than on paper.

I don't think Prosche changed the reserve of the battery, I think they are simply slightly larger than what is written on paper. This would fit to the strategy of "under reporting" but "over delivering".
