Electrify America won’t charge since latest PCM update

Is anyone else having issues, I have a 2022 CT4 Porsche says it s EA and EA says it s a Porsche problem.

Haven t tried that yet the plug and charge won t work keeps declining payment Supposed to be free for a few years

I remember I had to register for the free EA charging. I got an email from Porsche before I took delivery.

EA worked just fine for my post-update 2020 Taycan Turbo this past week - so that's a single data point.

the fact that EA works is always worth noting because it's an accomplishment.

I’ve had pretty good luck with EA, only ran into broken chargers once or twice thus far.

Plug and charge is broken for me after the uPdate. I tried it today and it complained that my payment was declined. The plug and charge option was checked in the PCM. I was able to start a charging session through the My Porsche app.

I have found chargers that would not accept P&C for my Taycan but others at the site would. Called CS and reported the defective charger. Hope this helps.

I drove to the nearest EA charger immediately after getting the uPdate and it worked fine. If it didn't, I would have driven 5 miles back to the Porsche dealership to ask for the loaner back. Glad it didn't come to that.
