Was driving yesterday, crossing a single lane of oncoming traffic. Plenty of grip to pull across the road, but car had another idea & applied brakes. Nearly caused a accident as the car approaching had to swerve as I was stopped in his lane. Very dangerous, booking in with service next week.

Wonder if that is related to our Taycan stopping while parking near a high curb. It apparently calculated that it was about to hit the high-curb corner I was cutting and refused to go forward (would have cleared but is was very close).

I think there are options within the driver assistance systems that can be switched off that may relate to this. I’ll have a look at my PCM later, but any options that sound like they will make you do something you don’t want to do, get unchecked by me

Agreed that you can turn this off. But it should not react like that. It’s quite dangerous.
