By the way, I had to wait for my Tesla Model S for about 2 years...
Your S75D had a 2 year wait? What years were those? Was this the first Model S variant available in your country?

2015 and 2016 and this was the new version of the Model S which's was presented at the same time with the Model X in Europe.
Yea, Tesla takes reservations at announcement time, it's as if Porsche took reservations for Taycans when Mission E was announced. A more fair comparison would to from the time Tesla locks your configuration ("confirms the order") to delivery.

Btw, S75D and production X was only announced some time in 2016 (IIRC the second half of 2016), so I suspect you just had a generic Model S reservation since the dual motor announcement at the end of 2014?

My dealer told me its the electrical standards differences why they dont do EV for EU delivery - you need to stick with the gas guzzlers for that. Here we have the PEC in Atlanta, LA (GOING NEXT WEEK!!!) and Toronto (soon)
