Exterior sound without Electric Sport Sound option?

If this has been covered before, I must not be searching for the right words… what is the default exterior sound without the ESS? Is it a generic electronic whine like many other cars or is it the fake engine sound?

Apparently it is the motor sound, amplified. Sounds a bit like the Tron motorbike.

Low pitched drone and not the awful tinny sound you hear on Tesla's, Toyotas, Jags and so on. Sadly I can now tell a Taycan when not looking - it is that distinctive.

With ESP the tone is much deeper when active when heard from the outside.

Don't waste your money on ESP - it is tedious and then some!
