Flashing HVAC screen

Bit if a weird one, but has anyone experienced sporadic flashing HVAC screen?

The left hand side of mine has flashed a couple of times with what seems like like vertical lines on the left hand side of the screen. Reminds me of monitor cabling issues with a PC.

It’s happened a couple of times in the last 10 days. Can’t get to reproduce it or get it on camera for Porsche to see as it only lasts c 3 seconds

Cable could have gotten unseated or was never connected properly in the first place. Could also be a kink in the cable. Get it checked, and mention how it reminds you of issues with monitors. Get it on video if you can And show them that.

EDIT: Don't rule out a dying screen.

Damn. Can't remember the last time I've had a dying LCD for anything. VAG bean counters strike again
