Second time this has happened to me in 8 weeks. Alarm going off for what seems like hours, no lights on car or anything completely dead. Had to get the AA to jump the 12v battery. Is there anyway of turning the alarm off as my neighbours not impressed?
Most importantly why the hell has this happened again. HELP

Same for me. See my other posts and appears to be an issue with the SW.

Until you find a remedy use the Porsche Connect App and disable the alarm and relevant security features (as if you were having the car serviced for example). Can also be set on My Porsche within the security options.

Will save a night's sleep until the gremlin has been exposed and rectified.

???

RTFM comes to mind but in the interests of being helpful...

1. Fire up your Porsche Connect App
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to "Alarms and Modes"
3. Click "Change Settings"
4. Browse each of the "Special" alarm modes and see which ones suits you best - Workshop Mode potentially - set the duration

Disclaimer: I've not tried this to prevent the alarm but it certainly stops Vodafone ringing (PVTS services) and suspect it will disable most things for the duration.

++ If safe / wise to do so, don't lock the car to arm the alarm or lock it with the interior surveillance disabled (check the Porsche Good To Know App but I think two presses of the lock button on the key will lock the car but disable the alarm.

Ah, that's because you don't have Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (PVTS) optioned or worse still activalited.

Click edit and see what you can set for Valet Alarm (max number of hours for example).

Check the manual for options locking the car and disabling certain features - it might help. I guess the concern is that a battery drain can be detected as an alarm and so it may continue to happen until the drain is plugged.
