It's red in the US (or maybe North America). EU and ROW gets clear side markets, yellow tail lights. we can get the clear side markers here, but as far as I can tell from initial search, we can't get yellow tail lights. Dealer wouldn't (or couldn't) order them for me.

I've never understood the blinking red (brake) light as turn indicator in the US (Canada?). It seems dangerous to me or at least harder to spot someone turning vs tapping their brakes. I guess its historical, right ?

After a January ‘22 order and being built without a 12v battery, my slightly low-key Turbo ST build has got to me. It’s a cliche, but it genuinely looks so much better in real life than when you stare at the pictures in the Configurator for months on end, as well as clicking through pictures of all your cars!

The extra’s weren’t too long. Went for 20” wheels as I value the comfort and the range and frankly, didn’t like the 21” options much for the price of them. If only I could have ordered the CT specific 21” wheels which are great. As it turns out am made up with my choice, might even get a set painted one colour.

Went for Bose as standard because whilst I have experience of owning a car with Burmeister, I didn’t rate it that highly and have decent home audio if I want to listen to music at home through a nice system.

the door handles give a great splash of colour on the grey, which was chosen to avoid a black void inside the car!

I’ve had a quick and slightly dull drive home in it in traffic and it’s beautiful to drive. I may put something together with more detail after some summer drives!

Had a bit of a longer wait at the dealer as the winter wheel & tyre set swap took a while, so took a few pictures of some of the nice motors they have at Porsche Reading whilst I waited!

My thanks to Simon at Reading Porsche who has been great throughout. Always helpful and patient through what must have been (almost!), as painful a time for him as me!

Here's some pics of my Gentian Blue Taycan outside, along with a pic of it next to my Mediterranean Blue BMW 5-series in the garage. The colors are very close in certain lighting but noticeably different under others. Both have that purple hue visible sometimes.

I am proud to have joined the club today. Here is my Gentian 4S with Bordeaux interior. There is hope for those waiting for cars as the car landed at the dealer about 3 weeks ahead of TYD estimate. I can’t stop smiling. PPF is next.

This looks beautiful! Mine is due to arrive in the next few days at the dealer and its also Gentian w/ Bordeaux red interior. Planning to get 35% tint on windows and rear and PPF and ceramic coat...I think it'll look superb. Also got the blue tint to my front headlights...sweet! Does yours have any tint?

Good luck with the upcoming delivery! I've had mine for just over 7 months now and the experience has just been amazing. The Gentian/Bordeaux/RS Wheel combo is just amazing. As much as I loved it when I picked it up, I think I've grown to appreciate it more and more every day. The car is simply stunning.

I have not tinted the windows as of yet. I did PPF from the mirrors forward and the ceramic coating has been fantastic.

I don't have a single regret with this purchase. You are going to fall in love at first sight. Pictures don't do it justice.

I was nervous as heck until I saw it in person so I know that feeling! It is a really classy combination and one that seems to be somewhat rare in Taycan circles. The car is gorgeous no matter how you build it but something about this combo just works so well.
