Guards Red Contrast Stitching

I have had my car for almost a month now. Just thought I would share some photos of the contrast stitching in case anyone is considering the option. I have the Basalt black interior with Guards red stitching. The photos really don’t do it justice. I love it. I also got the floor mats and key to match. It really breaks up the black interior nicely. I wasn’t brave enough to do the seat centres in a different colour. This week I added the valve stems in black with the Porsche colour logo. Hard to notice, but I think they add a small touch to Mission E wheels.

It is the type of leather. It is tanned using a sustainable method that employs olive branches. This was an upgrade over the standard leather interior.

Olea leather option also extends the leather?

Are the floor mats the deep pile? It should be standard

I don’t think Olea extends the leather beyond the full leather option, just a different type of leather.

yes, the floor mats are a deep pile with leather edging. They were a ridiculously expensive option but I really wanted the red stitching to match and the ship had sailed on this being a rational purchase. I have a colour matched key with a leather pouch that matches the red stitching as well. Unexpectedly they did give me the original floor mats which I will use as a backup.

Once you see those mats, it's hard to look at the stock paper thin ones. Nice job ?

I love deviated stitching. I passed on it for my recent RWD order - didn't want to pay $5K. Maybe on the next new P-car.

Yeah, the cost is ridiculous for different colour thread!! I was surprised when I found out how much.
