hands free opening of trunk

Has anyone mastered how to open yo trunk handsfree? The taycan manual shows that it should open by moving your foot under the bumperr. Thx for the help. I've tried it so many time with no success.

It works for me. You have to enable it first in the PCM. Check out this video for better instruction.

Works almost every time for me. Don't kick too fast, and give it a second after kicking for something to happen.

My charge cable managed to open the trunk twice. I have also opened the frunk by bending down to take a picture of the hood.

Concerning my car it is important to "kick under the "O" from Porsche". Thats not the middle of the trunk/car.

I tried "C" for close today. Again and again and again. Does not work, will go to the dealer´s garage today

It's part of the "comfort access" option. You can wave at the front boot and kick at the rear boot.

Ah, ok, don’t think I spec’d that. Have the rest gesture boot on the merc. Sure I can live without it.

I specced it out of pure vanity. I loved how the door handles came out to greet me.
