Headlight Control Error

Here is the a new error today about headlights. That was right after a WBA unavailable warning. A restart seems to have fixed it, so add it to the list of bugs.

Has anyone seen this before?

Yes, excatly the same, on the same trip and within 3 min after each other. Started just after my car was delivered. Dealer couldn’t find anything, just kicked the tyres and returned the car. It still come and go, but i just ignore it as with all the other error messages..

My dealer is also unable to diagnose any of the these intermittent error messages. Last time they hoped WMA5 would fix them but it hasn't fixed anything. The problem is not the dealer, it is the car itself which not only throws random errors but it also does not record anything to help the dealer diagnose.

unless the warnings become persistent, or if you inspect what you are being warned about and find an issue I would chalk the random warnings up to general wonkiness of the tech in the car.
I received a couple of weird warnings once, but never again.

Is it due to a dirty sensor on the front of the car?

I‘d be more concerned about pictures being taken while driving than with the errors themselves.

It will clear (normally) - white messages / notifications are not something to worry about (if RED = serious, if ORANGE= take care) - WBA warning can occur with moisture on the sensors / camera (front of rear view mirror).

Lock the car and leave it 15 mins to see if problem persists.

What type of headlights do you have - standard LED or Matrix?

Matrix. Just scared me bc I didn’t drive the car for 4 days kept plugged in at 85%. Then the error popped up. I also just had radar detector hardwired in.

It will clear (normally) - white messages / notifications are not something to worry about (if RED = serious, if ORANGE= take care) - WBA warning can occur with moisture on the sensors / camera (front of rear view mirror).

Is the error still there? If so then potentially the wiring of the radar device has introduced something unexpected.
