Heater broken. My turn.

The heater on my MY2020 4S just failed this week and the email arrived today. Nothing like good timing. We’ve had cold mornings here and have definitely noticed the lack of heat.

Received the email today also, guess they are doing the heater replacement in batches. Glad it will be done now, moving out of TX early June and back to St. Paul, wouldn't be fun to find the heater not working at -20F below zero this coming winter.

Almost like clockwork here too, mines going in Monday 23 GTS , my heater worked like a champ be4 too

Also got mine! Had my heater replaced last year due to a failure. Wondering if this this is being considered a more stable fix?

Haha, I hear ya. Just interesting that I hadn’t really heard re an Austin recall letter until now. My guess is we were prioritized later due to the warmer climate.

From prior posts it sounded like they were using vehicle data to target certain users. Wonder if they’ve moved into a different phase of recall now.

I called my dealer after receiving the email yesterday and they politely asked me to wait if I wasn't having any problems. They ordered a bunch in but have not yet arrived.

No more production of old Taycans, so all of manufacturing capacity can be directed to replacement heaters.

Our notice arrived Friday as well. I'll wait until August or so before contacting the dealer, unless it fails before then.
