Help on SIM / wifi connection please

I have problem and can not solve

I buy car from Porshe in Germany
And
I can not use Sim Card.In my country not have
And
Germany Taycan do not have external wifi connect..How can i active Porshe connect?
Bluettooth can not use Data

Is there answer?

Problem is that..
Taycan is not in Turkey now.
Porsche Service can not help until they import

You don't need the WiFi, that's only a hotspot.
You have to register at Porsche and make an account.
You have to activate your Porsche account in the car (log in).
From there you are connected to the car.

That's all.

The car has a built-in SIM card which is used to download map updates and possibly new features you buy from Porsche Connect (the Intelligent Range Manager can be bought, possibly Power Steering+) as well as sync settings via the App. Am I right in understanding that your SIM won’t connect to the outside world in Turkey (or where the car is used)? If the car is bought in EU that may continue to be an issue and possibly unresolvable. The WiFi in the car has afaik 2 usages: use the app to sync navigation targets or at an extra cost usable as a internet hub using the data plan (in SE 30 EUR/month) with 7GB. This is likely also not going to work outside EU.

So, for the usage I guess you are looking for you may need to get Porsche to “whitelist” your country or change the provider both of which are probably unlikely until launch.

I’m not sure, I think at least on the Panamera it didn’t work (the car couldn’t piggy-back on a mobile phone data connection), it had to always use the internal sim.

For reference, “hey Porsche“ works without the extra data plan and so does Google Map navigation.

You will need to get the SIM card activated by Porsche in Germany where you bought the car. It is possible that European drivers could drive through Turkey so the SIM card should continue to work in my opinion. It is a digital sim so there is no other way of connecting the car to the internet at the moment. In the future this may become available from a update Over the internet!! Which you don’t have in Turkey, so you need to speak to Porsche in Germany.

Correct, I know of no other way to connect Taycan to internet without sim being active.
