Hi all. I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue with my music on a USB flash drive. I purchased a USB-C converter, plugged it into the USB-C port within the centre console then plugged my USB flash drive into it. An indicator came up on the display stating USB detected and I was able to play my music - happy days. But unlike in my 911 prior to this, the USB flash drive is not auto detecting each time I start the car, I have to pull it out then re-insert it, which is a bit fiddly and annoying. Not sure if it's the USB flash drive, USB-C converter or the car that's causing this. Hope someone can help - many thanks.

My testing does not involve “restarting” the car. I’ve always gotten in the car and THEN plugged in my USB drive. And it works fine—

FWIW, the unit I have:

Perhaps because you are using an adapter? Again technically my example is not apples to apples b/c I’m not usually plugging in until after the car is already ON— sorry. Hope you can figure it out!
