Saw a locked Taycan Turbo S yesterday with its DC charge port open.

With our nor’easter coming, I figured I’d close it for the owner.

I suspect this happens often: DC lid stays open and the electronic door jams and won’t close.

Perhaps Porsche, we can install a spring on the DC flap to close shut after removal of the charge cable?

very nice of you, I do this ALL the time (leaving the DC port flap down)

I can just imagine the German engineers ... of course zee driver will put up zee little door, then our big door closes. no other combination could occur.

LOL. I was hearing the same accent.

In response to @tigerbalm, I agree. What's the use of the small door if the big door gets jammed on it and water floods in? I think there's a better design solution here.
