Maybe the EA people read the forums and wanted to get back at you so they installed a gremlin.
Honestly though, That is very odd. My car started around 185 at 85% 10 months and 6000 miles ago. Now it seems to be around 235-245 depending on how I’ve been driving.

please keep us updated. I would fear, like you, that Porsche will claim it’s your driving and not help out

85% - 240miles; 10k miles on odo, mostly city driving with proper accelerations, launches etc.

I doubt Porsche will replace the battery of a car that gets more range than the EPA estimate.

@daveo4EV other things to consider are changes to your car like new tires that might be stickier than the previous ones.

I have had my Taycan for 15 months. It is currently at 85% state of charge in the garage and says 256 miles. In other words, it works out to a touch over 300 miles on 100% SOC. That seems to match reality pretty closely.

Once the weather gets colder I am sure it will go down a fair bit. I saw anywhere between 200 and 250 miles range at 100% SOC last winter, sometimes even a touch lower under extreme conditions.

In my experience temperature, speed, and use of the heater in the winter have a big impact on range.

I have a 4S with 20" wheels.

Mine has always ready as 230 miles at 100% charge. But my driving is purely in the city. I have the bigger battery too

I have the SMALL battery and have had the car about 6 months. It consistently shows (and gets) 250 mile-260 mile range. I am sure it will decline in Winter but ....

What is your average comsumption? - really nice figures, I also have 4S with +battery and 20” turbo wheels - mine only shows 207 miles @ 85%, and has been consistenly like that.. My average consumption is for the last 4188 km is 20,9 KWh/100 km (must be approx. 34 kWh/100 miles)

If I believe Porsche Connect, it is 25.6kWh/100 miles over my 10K miles. That doesn't seem right. When I look at individual days, I bounce between 28kWh/100 miles and 34KWh/100 miles.

Porsche Taycan hmmm - my lovely Taycan is limited to 220 miles range - [Edit] I think it's the tires… consumptio

my conservation numbers are making no sense… 0.7 mi/kwh = less than 80 miles range…but I drove 216 miles - so not sure what’s going on.

here is my overnight charge right now…
This is where I am at as well with my 2020 4S with 9500k miles. I can now no longer get more than 210 miles range real world and I have noticed on longer road trips I can no longer make stations I previously could. I thought I was going insane but I kept getting less and less range with each trip.

I’m going in on the 8th - service manager says they can check battery health - I’ll let you know what we find out.

But my recent trip from/to Willows, CA resulted in 4% battery remaining (220 miles or less actual distance) - and driving below the speed limit in mild weather conditions.
that same trip 6 months ago resulted in 22% battery remaining with more spirtied driving on my way to/from the destination.
You need to specify the charging percentage you started with. As you are painfully aware of, the 'guess-o-meter' is simply a guess based on previous consumption.

If you started with 85% charge and you ended with 4% and you drove 220 miles, then:

220 miles / (85% - 4%) = 271 miles on a 100% charge. This is not great but within the margin when taking tire size and temperature into consideration.

During the summer I could not break 200 miles on my Tesla long range model Y on an 85% to less than 10% charge. I was able to get to about 240 miles in the Spring before I started to use air conditioning.

100% SOC starting percentage - 96% battery usage to drive 200’ish miles - vs. 78% battery usage to drive exact same route several months ago…
