Hi,
Can anyone out there with aftermarket wheels that are 22” specifically address the ride quality/feel with the Taycan air suspension. Do 22” wheels feel too harsh over bumps or is it still pretty smooth??

I love the Techart 22” formula VI wheels that they specifically designed for the Taycan. They are stunning.

hi there. So had the same concern about 22” wheels and I can tell you they are perfectly fine and add a little bit of more road feel but nothing I would call excessive. Depending on where you live (Houston, Texas here) you definitely have to be careful of potholes and road conditions due to the profile of the tires. I have attached a pic of my front tires as an example. I was about to post my whole car in another thread.

Glad to hear that! Those wheels look awesome! Could you tell a difference between those 22” and the 21” mission e?

honestly, yes. But it’s minimal compared to other vehicles I’ve owned. On my NC1 NSX going from factory to 20/21 setup I went back to my factory wheels. I would say you feel 5-7% more road on the Taycan. So really minimal in my opinion.

Makes sense and thanks for the detail. One last question- in which drive mode do you spend most of your time sport or normal?

I'm running 22" Vossen wheels as well with Michelin 4s tires. What tire pressures are you running?
