While doing some audio mods, I disconnect the passenger seat cable.
The car gave a 'System error: airbag disconnected. Contact your dealer' error.
I plugged it back in. And the seat worked again. But the car remembers the error message. The error message stays.

So the problem is gone, but the error message stays.
Does anybody know how to remove this message ? Can it only be done at the dealer ?

You need a scan tool, like iCarsoft POR2. Haven’t seen one that supports the taycan other then the clone PIWIS 3‘s.

Dealer can clear the airbag error.

For completeness of the record, the mapev.net software will not reset "service required" warnings, nor will a basic ODB 2 scanner. icar POR will not work, per the vendor. The only way to do it is the PIWIS, which is very expensive indeed, if you can even get an account.
This is quite the Porsche tax: $1,100 for new wiper blades, a pollen filter (I should have bought the Audi part), and a bottle of tire sealant. A recall did the brake line flush already. My SA will not return my calls asking how much to turn off the warning.
UPDATE:
After three calls, I got the SA, and he agreed to clear the warning for free. At the dealer location, I got the distinct impression that I have miffed somebody. The glad-handing, hellos, and yes-sirs that they usually throw around are no more. But, all is well, and I have nothing to complain about.

Just to be clear, the only way to clear the "service required" is with the PIWIS tool.
