Hmmm, Dave probably knows more about EVs, and Teslas in particular, than anyone on this forum. And he’s not really a Tesla fanboy. His perspectives are very balanced.

We should perhaps accept the fact that different people live in areas with varying population density, charger availability (both in numbers and in up time), that may have different road tripping profiles/requirements, and so trying to wedge all of that in a binary statement “best/better” is the mootest of all points. (Yes, ironic, innit..)

No one’s mind is in danger of being changed here.
