The fact that Porsche launched their GT3RS in Ice Grey and immediately made it available across the range should reassure you about the colour ;-)

Ha that's exactly why I switched away from chalk. And also that ICM is a better color anyway.

I think Chalk (Crayon in Europe) suits the 911 shape amazingly, I'm not so much a fan of it on the Taycan tho.

My son has been hounding me to change my colour to black.... and he did actually make me to start have second thoughts, so I was planning to go to the dealership to review colours again.

However, Octopus just told me that if I change my spec the new quote will probably cost me more as the Taycan residuals have got worse e.g. dropping my mileage from 10k/pa to 8k/pa would increase my cost by £50/mth!

So, I'm quite happy now that I won't be spending the next 12 months constantly tweaking my build!

I think Chalk (Crayon in Europe) suits the 911 shape amazingly, I'm not so much a fan of it on the Taycan tho.

Had this thought as well. The final nail in the coffin was seeing it on a panamera - close enough in body style to a taycan for me to know that it didn't quite fit.

I was looking at ordering a RWD in Ice Grey Metallic but after adding one too many options, the 4S made more sense!

in my haste to change my spec, I nearly forgot to add the high-gloss black window surrounds on the 4S (the RWD had black as standard).

got me looking to see if anyone has actually spec'd Ice Grey with the silver window trim?

had a good look through this thread but not seen any as of yet!

I've just finished my first test drive in a Taycan GTS today. I won't bore everyone with the details as everyone here is sold on the car, but it was simply amazing! My daily is an X5 and I was shocked driving home after approx. 3 hours in the Taycan that the Porsche was even better at cruising!

Anyway, the GTS was thankfully Ice Grey as that's the colour I was considering. It is absolutely stunning in the flesh and photos do not do it justice. It's by far the best colour I've seen on a Porsche.

I think this photo is the closest to the colour, but still isn't quite there.

I will hopefully be ordering my GTS next week - in the UK the residuals are better on the GTS, so it's actually cheaper to lease than cheaper 4Ss.
