Out of curiosity, has anyone else been experiencing wildly inaccurate electrical consumption numbers in their trip data?

On short trips < 60 miles, consumption data would be accurate where it typically reports on average .3 kWh/mi consumption. However on longer trips, the number ends up being comically inaccurate. For example... 16.1 kWh/mi average consumption to travel 79 miles. If that was accurate, this would mean that I used up 1,271.0 kWh of electricity / 15.25 worth of batteries.

Should use consumption in kWh/100mi. That way there are less rounding errors...

Yes - I have this problem too. All well until I have covered about 60 miles, after which it starts to display readings based on 0mi/kWh. I have just reported it to the OPC and they are going to take a look when it goes in for the recall.

kWh per mile is an odd way to observe consumption ?‍?

Actually I prefer energy/1 mi. It’s usually in the 200-500 Wh/mi range. Wh/mi (or Wh/km) is the unit Tesla uses. Multiplying by 100 (or dividing by 100) isn’t too difficult though :)

distance/1 kWh throws me off a little.

Yes. Exactly the same on my 2020 4s from new. Dealership were hoping the big update would fix it but it didn't so they've lost interest. Seems trivial but extremely annoying on a car of this price. Is this data calculated and stored by the car, or the Porsche server?

I agree with kreshi. Kwh per mile is a ridiculous way to measure consumption. It's only logged to one decimal place, so typically 0.3 or 0.4 kwh per mile. This could be between 3.3 and 2.5 miles per kwh, which is a huge difference, so is not a useful figure at all.

Not every trip but I also get this issue on long journeys. The miles/kWh generally start of as accurate but the at some point you get ridiculously low and inaccurate miles/kwh
