Article from motor1, Dominik Wilde

Strange article to me, apperently from someone who is apparently new to an EV. Discussion of how slow it charges at 120v, seriously? When it only draws less than a hair dryer to avoid blowing a breaker.

Also says it makes no noise, I know that the Electric Sport Sound is synthesizer enhanced electric motor sound, but it has it and he has a Turbo S so it would be in there base.

He also talked about the infrastructure not being there (I agree it's still lacking), but that it would take tens of millions to build out. I guess he didn't s not aware of EA.
Over a 10-year period ending in 2027, Electrify America will invest $2 billion in ZEV infrastructure, access, and education programs in the United States. Of this $2 billion, we are investing $800 million in California, one of the largest ZEV markets in the world.

I hope Mr. Rahal spends more time with the vehicle and gets a 50A 240V charger set up at home to learn a little less fear of EVs. But they do require planning today on longer journeys, for sure.

p.s not sure if this deserves its own thread, but I couldn't find a reasonable alternate place to post.

So true, most people need more information in Evs and charging, myself included, and then misinformation doesn't help, thank goodness for more range and chargers being added. Once range anxiety ends and they are more affordable things will change.
