My 2021 Taycan screen says an infotainment update was installed today, but I see no difference. Is there a way to see if the update was 6.0?

PCM 6.0 is not coming to older models.

Timing and availability
The new functions will be standard on all newly produced Porsche 911, Taycan, Panamera and Cayenne models, with production implementation beginning in the coming weeks. The exact scope depends on the equipment and powertrain type of the vehicle.

EDIT: I was mistaken. Thanks to those who clarified.

Why spread false information?
Yeah, it seems like we need this stickied maybe... PCM 6.0 is the platform generation. The platform encompasses both hardware and software. The 2020 Taycan was the first Porsche on the PCM 6 platform. Every other Porsche had variations of PCM 5.0. There is (potentially) a revision of the PCM 6 hardware coming at some point in 2022, based on what people have gleaned from part numbers, but existing 2022 owners have shown that they have the same PCM 6 hardware revision as 2020/2021 so far.

The PCM 6 hardware runs a set of software. What is coming "later in 2022" is a significant update to the core software , introducing Spotify, Android Auto, and a new look and feel for the UI. Porsche has claimed that all new Porsche models, including non-Taycan, ordered from here forward, will now be shipping with PCM 6 running this new build. They have also (sort of) claimed that any 2022 cars already shipped will get a "retrofit". They have not made claims about 2020 and 2021 Taycans (this is probably where the "Taycan will not get PCM 6" misunderstanding comes from).

I blame Porsche for this honestly. They're woefully bad at managing the technology, but it seems they might be somehow even worse at talking about it.
